Today was blanketed with financial considerations.
We closed our first round, exceeded expectations, and are now preparing for a 6 month whirlwind. Thank you investors!
I also met with my personal financial manager to determine how I'll be able to hold on for 6 months without personally going bust.
Both the exciting and the real resulted in a tremendous sensation of pressure.
Now, I love pressure as much as anyone.
In fact, I function better with it.
However, there needs to be a balance.
The good pressure coming from wanting to succeed for my angel investors is empowering.
The tough pressure coming from betting everything me and wife have can be staggering.
Finding the balance will be an ongoing challenge of never experienced proportions.
So...loving and supporting friends and family brace yourself, because I'll be calling on you, relying on you, and loving you every step of the way. Thanks in advance for being there.
Oh and dad, the car ride and your ear meant more than you know.
