Today was one of those days to take a deep breath and enjoy the moment.
By no means was it because today felt as if things were slowing down. Rather it was because there were enough breakthroughs, laughs, and freak-outs to remind me that it's all about the journey.
I think it was the corporate job between start-ups that provided me with the ability to recognize moments like today. When I was younger it was all about the finish line. But in retrospect my favorite stories (often referred to as the glory days while at the big job) were the ones that described the struggle, the perseverance, and the ability to overcome (or laugh about falling on my face).
This time we are indeed onto 'something big'. But what 'big' now means to me is that we took the leap of passion, and are prepared for either a glorious sky dive or the gift of flight.
